Recently I’ve been following the doings of an Australian organization called Getup, which has been up to a number of extremely kewl things. One of their current efforts is promoting an evening of Reconciliation conversations between indigenous and non-indigenous folks in Australia.
So on April 29th, some 223 GetTogethers are organized already all over Australia. Check out the map on the event home page–and realize that the *vast* majority of the populations lives on or near the coasts of the continent. It seems they’re doing this as a kind of follow up to the recent long-time-in-coming official apology to the Indigenous people of Australia.
I’m totally wowed by this. Feels like *huge* movement towards MTWABP.
So a couple questions:
