Honestly now, how many of you knew that today is not only the vernal equinox, and the beginning of spring in the northern hemisphere, but also the Iranian New Year?
After Arabic, maybe I’ll have to learn Farsi.

1I knew! I have a very good Iranian friend. I think Obama’s rhetoric IS an action! Words of peace to Iran are an enormous action, and one far preferable to McCain’s ‘Bomb bomb bomb bomb bomb Iran’ … This speech today of Obama’s made me SO thankful for Obama - a wise, peace-loving leader. And what a wonderful relief, change, turn towards good!!!
